| Darlanna Besecker | Darlanna has had a professional career of nearly 29 years working w! ith women and birth. As an RN at the Chambersburg Hospital she worked on the Labor and Delvery floor for 19 years helping women deliver their babies. She then went back to school and became a nurse midwife and has worked at Keystone Women's Care for the past 10 years. Here she helps women of all ages with their health care and also gives prenatal, delivery and postnatal care to women. By working at Keystone Health she is able to provide full-service, family-centered care, that is affordable and accessible to anyone including the uninsured. Darlanna is married to Dave Besecker for 29 years now and has two grown daughters. Dave is a worship leader at the Otterbein Church in Waynesboro. In Darlanna's free time she enjoys singing in the church choir and gardening. She organizes a large garden event annually that is used as fund raiser at the church. This year's new and exciting events, in addition to serv! ing on the board of PMI, include a wedding for her oldest daughter and celebrating the graduation of her youngest daughter from Taylor Universtiy. She looks forward to God's leading in her life and finds each day new and challenging. |
